Onecount Sections ("we", "us", "our") operates the Onecount Sections application for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

Store Information

When you install Onecount Sections, we access your Shopify store information including your store domain, store name, and email address as provided by Shopify's OAuth process.

Theme Data

We access your theme files solely to install and manage the Liquid sections you choose to add. We do not read, store, or modify any theme files beyond what is necessary for section installation and removal.

Usage Data

We track which sections you install and your subscription status to provide the service and improve our offerings. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Onecount Sections service
• To install and manage sections on your Shopify theme
• To process subscriptions and payments via Shopify Billing
• To communicate service updates and new section releases
• To provide customer support

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted on encrypted infrastructure. Section assets (CSS, JavaScript, images) are delivered via Cloudflare's global CDN network. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and regular security audits.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Shopify: We integrate with Shopify's platform APIs as required to provide our service
• Cloudflare: Section assets are delivered through Cloudflare R2 CDN
• Legal compliance: When required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your store data for as long as the app is installed on your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, we begin our data deletion process within 48 hours, removing your store information and installation records. Section files added to your theme remain until you manually remove them.

6. GDPR and Data Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Request data portability

7. Shopify's Role

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy with a new "Last updated" date.
