Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Onecount Sections application ("Service") provided by Onecount ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using our app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Onecount Sections is a Shopify application that provides pre-built, professionally designed Liquid sections for Shopify online stores. Sections are installed directly into your active theme via Shopify's Theme API.

2. Account and Access

• You must have a valid Shopify store to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
• You must provide accurate information during installation
• One installation per Shopify store unless otherwise agreed

3. Pricing and Billing

Onecount Sections offers both free and paid sections. All paid transactions are processed through Shopify's billing system. Subscription fees are billed through your Shopify account according to the plan you select.

• Free sections: Available at no cost to all merchants
• Paid sections: One-time purchase per section
• Pro subscription: Monthly or annual subscription for full access

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase if you're unsatisfied with a paid section.

4. License and Usage

Upon installation, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the sections on your Shopify store. You may:

• Install sections on your active Shopify theme
• Customize installed sections to match your store's branding
• Use sections on one Shopify store per license

You may NOT:

• Redistribute, resell, or share section code with others
• Use sections on stores not associated with your Shopify account
• Remove or modify copyright notices or attributions
• Reverse engineer our CDN delivery or authentication systems

5. Intellectual Property

All section designs, code, and assets are the intellectual property of Onecount. Your purchase grants a usage license, not ownership of the underlying code or design.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for our CDN and installation services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. Sections already installed on your theme will continue to function independently of our service availability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Onecount shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Theme Modifications

By using our Service, you authorize us to add and remove Liquid section files in your Shopify theme. We take care to only modify files directly related to our sections. However, we recommend maintaining theme backups before installing new sections.

9. Termination

You may uninstall Onecount Sections at any time through your Shopify admin panel. Upon uninstallation, your access to the Service ends, but sections already installed in your theme will remain functional. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation first, then through appropriate legal channels.
